Hi Serena and Martin and everyone else involved in the organisation of this awsome run! Thank you so, so much for putting together such a wonderful event and for pulling it off despite the weather. You Fishhoek guys sure have had some challenges when organising races this year, ie the RedHill marathon which had to be re-routed!!! Once again you did it! I had a wonderful time, I was a bit disappointed because of the re-route but have to agree with you that it was the correct thing to do under the circumstances. The only problem is that now I have to come back next year and do it again on the normal route and as Serena says I will then have to come back the year after to get my permanent no. Guess what Super Power I am going to wish for, for next year? - I want to be able to adjust the weather on race days!!!!!! Thank you again, Cheerio Jana PS I am absolutely ecstatic to have finished, it is going to take a long long time to wipe the grin off my face, in short I feel like a dog with 10 tails and they are *ALL* wagging!

****************************************************************************************************** Thanks Serena and team for a brilliant all-be-it wet day, still the best race on the calendar by far. Kind Regards,
****************************************************************************************************** Hi Serena
****************************************************************************************************** Martin, Serena and The Puffer Team From myself and all the West Coast members who ran, THANK YOU for yet another fantastic event, especially having to co-ordinate everything in very tough conditions. All the seconding points where absolutely suburb, especially the couple at Vlakkenburg. Dave Johnson (West Coast)

Hi Serena On behalf of myself, Marina & Dimmie de Milander, Louise Scheepers & Andries Smit, I would formally like to place on record our sincere appreciation for the most awesome and organised race ever done.!
I have to compliment you and the organisers of FHAC for a fantastic event which you hosted.
The waterpoints was unbelievable, everything just worked like the swiss clock. Many many thanks once again. Please convey this message to the other people who was part of your team. Regards Anne Pool

Thank you so much for all your help ahead of the race, and all the organizational wizardry around the race. I’m sad not to have completed it, but I’m content with my decision to pull out at the checkpoint after the Red Hill bull terrier houses – Saturday was just not my day to 80k, (too soon after doing the Bull, I think) and being at the back and not knowing the route, with the weather coming in, everything would have just got worse and worse from that point. Special praise to your marshals and volunteers, especially kind Christo from that checkpoint who gave me warm things, coffee, and a lift to the finish where I had parked my car the night before. I didn’t get his surname or contact details but I’d like to send him an email to thank him properly. I hope to have another shot at the PuFfeR next year, it definitely feels like a big case of unfinished business! Hope you have a nice quiet post-PuFfeR week, Kind regards

******************************************************************************* Hi Serena and Martin,
Wow is all I can say. Regardless of only clocking 5.5 hours and some 35km of the route I enjoyed every single step and raindrop that was collected. The biggest thank you to Martin and the lone water-tables that patiently waited forme, the last runner in the terrible weather. It was greatly appreciated. Many lessons weren't learnt on Saturday and I'm filled with determination to approach my training and preparation better for next years event and look forward to running over the finish line to the cheers of the waiting crowd. Once again thank you to a committed and dedicated crew, without you we wouldn't have a race. Warm regards, Ashleigh

Thank you for organising the event.
The portion that I did complete was awesome, the support from the water tables was brilliant and I am glad to see that you sent the field around the contour once the weather turned sour.
I hope to be back next year and I will try not to race a 570km race the week before. Regards
Sean Hutchinson

Hello Serena and team Well done on a brilliant race – although conditions were tough, it was beautifully organised and executed, as always! T-shirt quality fab, and the little award/medal is also very special. Thanks to all of you – I know it can’t have been an easy day. regards Karoline
